I don't know much about coffee but when you need someone who does give Dave and Susan Ward a call. They are the proud owners of Buddy Brew Coffee on Kennedy Blvd in Tampa's SOHO District.
Named after their dog "Buddy", this coffee roaster is not your tipical coffee shop. The coffee is self serve with a bottomless cup for a $2.00 donation.
3 different coffees are on tap, mild, medium and bold. You never know what Dave is roasting.
The retail coffee is secondary, their focus is packaged coffee. Dave told me when looking for a location a storefront was not even on the radar. When the space on Kennedy opened up they could not pass it up.
