A few months back I asked my friend Veronica Swiatek if I could write a blog on her massages business, Massage Studio in the Palma Ceia area of South Tampa.  She and I met at the studio and she asked, “Have you ever had a massage here?”  I felt kind of strange saying, “No I have not” since I was about to write a story on her business.  Veronica turned to her massage studio manager, Charlea and booked me the next open appointment.  That afternoon at Massage Studio I was shown the difference between a simple massage and a massage experience. What gave it away was the sign-in form.  I have never been asked my music and smell preference before.  What a simple but wonderful touch to the Massage experience. Each experience includes your favorite music, heated beds, luxury sheets, aromatic eye-pillows and soothing hot towels.  The hot towel is a great touch so you don’t leave full of lotion.  My massage therapist was Kristina; a wonderful lady that asked what was I looking for.  My options were Relaxation, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports or Hot Stone.  In addition to those they offer Motherhood and even Massage for Two for you romantic ones out there!  Another wonder addition each massage room is designed differently by the elements of nature - Zen Garden, Ocean Oasis, Red Rock Canyon, Mountain Retreat, Tropical Rainforest.

So my massage was a mix of Deep Tissue and Sports with a hint of Relaxation.  I never told Kristina what I was looking for but she knew exactly what I needed.  I really enjoyed my time at Massage Studio and looking forward to my next visit.
